GETTING CHEESED ABOUT ALLERGENS
Most plant-based cheeses use a broad selection of nuts, soy, starches, and even wheat products as filler. These are all ingredients which a growing number of people today cannot eat without experiencing drastic health effects. Grows On Trees began with a simple mission: to make a tasty aged cheese without any of these common allergens on the ingredients label.
We’re proud to offer a growing selection of cheeses based with coconut milk and sunflower seeds, along with a growing roster of legumes such as chickpeas and lentils. After going through our process of culturing (with an array of different vegan bacteria), we add different salts, oils, vinegars, herbs and spices, and then let time do the rest. Weeks later, the resulting cheese is ready for your enjoyment.
We’re also proud to underline that our aged cheeses are never exposed to temperatures higher than 100F which firmly positions them as a raw product.
